How to Care for Premium Cotton
Simple washing, drying, and storage rules that help good garments last longer.
4 min read
Wash cold. Heat breaks fibers and fades color faster than most people expect — especially on deep, saturated tones.
Turn garments inside out before washing to protect the face of the fabric and any print or detail work.
Use a gentle detergent. Harsh formulas can strip natural oils from cotton and shorten the life of the hand-feel you paid for.
Skip unnecessary hot drying. Air dry when practical; if you machine dry, use low heat and remove pieces while they are slightly damp to reduce shrink and stress.
Store folded or hung with enough space to breathe — cramming heavy cotton into a tight shelf invites creasing and fiber fatigue.
Better care protects fit, color, and fabric life. It is the quiet part of sustainability nobody puts on a hang tag — and it matters.
